Coverancy is and will always be free for homeowners. You don't pay us to request a quote, compare partners, or read our guides.
We are not an insurance company
Coverancy is not an insurance company, agency, or licensed broker. We connect homeowners with insurance providers and marketing partners who can actually quote and sell coverage.
How we earn revenue
When you submit our quote form, we share your information with insurance and marketing partners that serve your area. Those partners pay us a referral fee — either a flat fee per lead, a pay-per-call fee, or a commission when a policy is sold. The fee comes from our partners, not from you, and is not added to your premium.
What happens to your information
The information you provide on the quote form is shared with the insurance and marketing partners we connect you with so they can contact you with quotes. We explain this in our Privacy Policy, and you can opt out at any time via our Do Not Sell My Info page.
Editorial independence
The guides, calculators, and educational content on Coverancy are written independently of which partner happens to pay us at any given time. We don't rank carriers by who pays the most, and we don't include "best of" lists that could be influenced by compensation. See our Editorial Policy for more.
